The workflow
How LayerScape Works
From a 360° image to a fully annotated live lesson — in four steps.
01 — Upload
Upload a 360° panorama
Start with any panoramic image — taken in the field, pulled from your library, or generated with AI. LayerScape wraps it into an immersive 360° scene in seconds.
Supports equirectangular JPG, PNG, and WEBP. Or use the built-in AI generator to create a custom scene from a text prompt.
02 — Annotate
Annotate the scene
Drop text labels, images, audio clips, videos, and links anywhere in the panorama. Every annotation is pinned to a 3D position and stays put as students look around freely.
Use drawing tools to highlight regions, add callout cards, or embed YouTube clips directly inside the 360° world.
03 — Share
Share a session code
One click generates a live 5-digit session code. Write it on the board, drop it in chat, or project it on screen — students join in seconds from any device, no app install required.
Codes expire when you close the session. Open a fresh one each class to keep your content private.
04 — Teach Live
Students experience it live
The moment you drop an annotation, every connected student sees it appear in real time. They explore the 360° view freely while your highlights guide their focus exactly where you want it.
Works on phones, tablets, and computers — no headset required. VR headset support is coming soon.
